Hardwood Handle from Well-Managed Forests The paddle-shaped handle is made from Beechwood (Fagus sylvatica) sourced from the forests of the Carpathian Mountains. We use 100% FSC-certified wood, ensuring sustainable and responsibly managed timber. Both the strop and handle are handcrafted into a premium sharpening tool to keep your knives and straight razors razor-sharp.

Large and Comfortable The large 320mm (12.6") x 60mm (2.36") knife sharpening strop offers flexibility and a wide working surface. The working area measures 206mm (8.11") x 56mm (2.17"), providing ample space for precise sharpening. The strop features both smooth and rough leather sides for varied finishing needs.

Versatile and Easy to Use Apply your preferred polishing compound to the smooth or rough side of the leather. Most customers find that green compound works best on the smooth side, while white compound is ideal for the rough side. The dual-sided design allows for coarser or finer grits, making it easy to achieve the perfect edge. Always strop after sharpening with a fine stone, maintaining the same angle for optimal results.

The balm, containing lanoline and beeswax, softens and conditions the leather, enhancing its performance and longevity.
